VartaNexus is committed to high standards of editorial integrity, accuracy, and compliance with the Code of Ethics laid down under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 enacted under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

If you have any grievance or complaint regarding the content published on https://vartanexus.com/ or its associated official digital/social platforms, you may submit your grievance following the process detailed below.

Level I: Internal Grievance Mechanism (Publisher Level)

Any aggrieved person or entity may file a complaint regarding content published on VartaNexus directly with our designated Resident Grievance Officer.

How to Submit a Complaint

To enable efficient and timely resolution, your complaint must include the following details:

  • Complainant's Full Details: Full Name, postal address, email ID, and phone number.
  • Content Identification: Specific URL(s) or link(s) of the news article, video, or content piece in question.
  • Date & Description: Date of publication and a brief description of the exact statements/content being objected to.
  • Grounds of Complaint: The precise provisions of the Code of Ethics or applicable legal provisions alleged to have been violated.
  • Supporting Documentation: Any relevant documents or evidence supporting your grievance.
  • Declaration: A statement declaring that the details provided in the complaint are true and correct to the best of your knowledge.

Complaint Processing & Timelines

In adherence to Rule 11 of the IT Rules, 2021:

  • Acknowledgment: The Grievance Officer will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 24 hours of receiving it.
  • Disposal: The Grievance Officer will examine and address the complaint, communicating the decision along with reasons to the complainant within 15 days from the date of receipt.

Level II: Self-Regulatory Body

VartaNexus is currently in the process of completing affiliation with an MIB-registered Self-Regulatory Body (SRB) under Level II of the IT Rules, 2021. Details regarding Level II grievance escalation and contact information will be updated here upon final onboarding.

Level III: Oversight Mechanism

The Inter-Departmental Committee established by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India, serves as the Level III oversight mechanism under the IT Rules, 2021.
